On August 5, 2025, Côte d'Ivoire entered the era of digital identity with the super app: Côte d'Ivoire Identité (CIID).

The Côte d'Ivoire Identity application is led by the National Office of Civil Status and Identification (ONECI) in collaboration with the various ministries and administrations of Côte d'Ivoire. As a trusted third party for identity in Côte d'Ivoire, ONECI provides the population with a reliable and secure digital identity through the Côte d'Ivoire Identity application.
